About Sundance Therapy Summer Programming

Step One | Review
Registering for Summer Sessions

Each session week choose from either a half-day or full-day option:

  • Half Day (9:30am - 12pm, $335)
  • Half Day (12:30pm - 3pm, $335)
  • Full Day (9:30am - 3pm, $670)

AM before-care is available daily from 9am - 9:30am for an additional $15 per day ($45 total per session)

PM after-care is available daily from 3pm - 3:30pm for an additional $15 per day ($45 total per session)

Summer Session Schedule Program Days

Each summer session is a 3 consecutive day program:

  • Monday - Wednesday, or
  • Wednesday - Friday
  • check the session dates and locations carefully before registering

We know scheduling can get complicated for our families and support attendance adjustments that may need to be made for outside services, appointments and other scheduling conflicts. Though we wont be able to provide adjustments to program rates due to scheduling conflicts, we will happily work with your family to ensure your child's maximum participation and engagement with planned activities.

Sundance Therapy Therapists and Providers

Sundance Therapy summer programing staff includes highly experienced Occupational Therapists, a Behavior Consultant and Certified Nurse Aides:

  • Licensed and background checked 
  • First aide and emergency response certified
  • Expansive professional and personal experience working with the special needs and neurodivergent community
Limited Enrollment Spots Per Summer Session

Each summer session is limited to 6 participants from ages 5-15. This allows us to:

  • Maintain a 2:1 participant to staff ratio
  • Provide more individualized attention and support
  • Offer a robust offering of fun experiential activities across the community and at the ranch 
  • Please contact us if your child falls outside the listed age range and you would like for them to participate, we can consider each individual on a case by case basis. 
Requesting an Additional Support Person

We welcome families to provide an additional support person to accompany your child during summer programming. This may include:

  • A parent/guardian
  • An older sibling
  • Your child's private duty nurse
  • Your child's registered behavior technician
  • (Requests will be approved on a case-by-case basis and may require additional documentation).

Sundance Therapy highly values affirming and inclusive practices and we are committed to offer accessible programing for our shared community.

Session C & D | Animal Detectives
Monday, June 10th - Wednesday, June 12th (Sundance Therapy Ranch | Elizabeth, CO)

Come meet and learn all about the farm animals we care for at Sundance Therapy Ranch, from pigs to horses, chickens, sheep, goats, and more! Your child will get some hands on activities with the animals, including learning about animal care and how we can practice mindfulness to manage our emotions and bodies when interacting with them. Don't miss this opportunity to meet the animals at the ranch!

Session K & L | Nature's Harvest
Monday, July 22nd - Wednesday, July 24th (Sundance Therapy Ranch | Elizabeth, CO)

It's harvest season at Sundance Therapy Ranch! Discover the abundance of new growth the summertime brings to the ranch, including the variety of foods growing in the gardens, how we take care of the land and plants and how the land takes care of all of our ranch residents, animals and human alike! Learn about how nature renews itself with new life, including our expected farm animal babies!

Session I & J | Makers & Builders w/ Art Garage
Wednesday, July 17th - Friday, July 19th (Bob Ragland Library | Denver, CO)

Sundance Therapy is partnering with Art Garage in Denver to guide in using a variety of both traditional materials (like builders bricks) to found materials and textiles to invent and create an interactive project designed by your child. Explore ideas, and expand on unique ways to solve problems, meet objectives, and express agency in making and executing decisions.

Session A & B | Fun on the Farm
NEW DATE! Monday, Aug 5th - Wednesday, Aug 9th (Sundance Therapy Ranch | Elizabeth, CO)

Join us at Sundance Therapy Ranch to explore all that our outdoor animal assisted therapy ranch has to offer. Learn all about the built habitats at the ranch like our pastures and outdoor arena, where our farm animals live, sharing nature with the area's wildlife, our food gardens and sensory trail.

Select Your Summer Sessions & Reserve Your Spot

To enroll, complete the form below. Payment is due in full upon enrollment, and will be processed within 1 business day of confirming an enrollment spot for your child. You can mix and match your selections and enroll for as many sessions as you would like; enrollment will be open through the duration of the summer programming (July 24, 2024) on a first come first serve basis. If enrollment for any session is full, you will be charged $1.00 to hold your child's spot on the waitlist. Families requesting Rocky Mountain Human Services or Developmental Pathways funding will be charged $1.00 to hold your child’s spot while your funding request is processed.
