2024 Summer Program Scheduling

Sundance Therapy Outdoor Explorers Summer Program runs two individual sessions per programming day.

Each morning and afternoon session are 2 ½ hours in duration with the option to add-on a 30 minute before-care option to morning sessions or a 30 minute after-care option to the afternoon sessions.

Participants may enroll in both the morning and afternoon sessions for a full-day option upon the availability of enrollment spots.

Before & After Care:

  • Morning Before-care: 9am-9:30am
  • Afternoon After-care: 3pm-3:30pm

Daily Session Times:

  • Morning sessions: 9:30am-12pm
  • Afternoon sessions: 12:30pm-3pm
  • Participants enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions: 9:30am-3pm

2024 Sundance Therapy Outdoor Explorers Summer Programs are hosted at Sundance Therapy Ranch in Elizabeth, CO; and at our partner locations in the community located throughout the Denver-metro area.

2024 Summer Program Enrollment Cost

The cost of each Sundance Therapy Outdoor Explorers Summer Program Session is $335, and includes all materials, admission fees, facility fees, and costs associated with community partners, instructors and staff.

Participants may enroll in multiple summer session options on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Payment information, credit card authorization and a $1.00 reservation fee will be collected at the time of enrollment for all participants providing payment with a self-pay AND CMA funding request payment option.
  • A member of our staff will confirm your child’s enrollment in each selected summer session within 24 hours of submission.
    • Self-pay participants with confirmed enrollment spots will be notified and the payment processed in full within 1 business day. A receipt will be emailed to the contact information provided upon enrollment.
  • Participants requesting funding from their CMA case manager with confirmed enrollment spots will be notified and provided with an invoice and W9 and instructions to submit for CMA funding.
    • The previously paid $1.00 reservation fee will hold the participant’s spot(s) while the funding request is processed.
  • Participants who selected summer sessions that do not have an open enrollment spot will be placed on a waitlist for each of the selected full sessions. The previously paid $1.00 reservation fee will hold the participant’s spot on the waitlist.
  • If a spot becomes available for any summer session, the next waitlisted participant in line will be notified and offered the spot which may be accepted or declined.

Self-pay: If you are waitlisted and accept an open enrollment spot the payment will be processed within 1 business day upon accepting the open enrollment spot.

CMA funding pending approval: If you are waitlisted and accept an open enrollment spot while your CMA funding is still being processed, we will work with you and your child’s CMA case manager to hold your child’s spot.

  • If your Case Management Agency denies your funding request, or if your child’s case manager cannot provide a status update on pending funding requests by the day before the start date of any given session enrollment, you will have the opportunity to self-pay for the session(s), to join the waitlist for the session(s) or to cancel your child’s enrollment in the session(s).

A $1.00 reservation fee will be collected upon selecting your child’s session enrollments when you register for summer programming using our online form.

  • This fee is non-refundable but will be deducted from the self-pay total cost and also deducted from a CMA funding request invoice for submission to your child’s case-manager.
Consultation Fees

With your request and permission, we are happy to consult with other professionals regarding the planning or collaboration of medically necessary safety or care in preparation of your child’s participation. Any training, in-person meeting or telephone/video conferencing conversation exceeding 30 minutes may require an additional fee depending on the nature and the time or transportation required of the meeting/conversation.

Please email any requests to collaborate with another professional to [email protected] and include your name and contact information. A member of our team will contact you with a medical release form giving us permission to share information about your child, and instructions for next steps.

Legal Fees

If you become involved in legal proceedings that require the participation of any Sundance Therapy staff member or provider, you retain the responsibility to pay Sundance Therapy, LLC for the accrual of all professional time.

Accrual of professional time includes, but is not limited to:

  • Preparation of any document or testimony provided to you, your attorney, the court, another party’s representative, etc.
  • Transportation costs and attendance during any court proceedings, including testimony for you or requested by another party.
  • Time consulting with an attorney regarding any Sundance Therapy staff or provider’s role in your case.

Because of the significant time and energy associated with legal involvement, the fee for any Sundance Therapy staff or provider’s professional time to participate in any legal proceedings is $250 per hour.

  • According to the ethics codes mandated by our professional scopes, no Sundance Therapy staff or provider is allowed to barter or to accept alternate forms of payment.
  • Payment of any such accrual of professional time will be billed to you on a monthly basis, and is due upon receipt of the billing statement.
    • For any checks or payments returned for insufficient funds, we will add the associated insufficient funds bank-fee to a new billing statement, and the new payment amount is due upon receipt.
Collections

In the unlikely event that you have an unpaid balance for Sundance Therapy Services and/or Programs and you do not reduce your balance in a 60-day period, and arrangements for payment have not been agreed upon; Sundance Therapy has the option of using legal means to secure the payment. This may involve hiring a collection agency or going through the small claims court which may require the disclosure of otherwise confidential information. In most collection situations, the release of information is limited to the participant’s name, the nature of the services provided, and the amount due. Please note that the collection agency will report the delinquent account to the credit bureau and thus your credit rating may be affected.

Enrollment: Attendance

We understand that families coordinate many outside services and obligations and that there may be times when the participant cannot attend the entirety of an enrolled session (missing a day, coming late, leaving early, or being “pulled out” and returning to a session). We support and encourage you to adjust the participant’s attendance as needed to best accommodate your child’s needs. Although we will not be able to refund any enrollment fees related to any changes in the participant’s daily attendance, we will work with your family to ensure the best possible experience and participation with planned activities for the participant.

You have the right to stop attending Sundance Therapy Outdoor Explorers Summer Programming at any time.

Cancelling Your Child's Enrollment

Cancellation requests must be emailed in advance to [email protected] at least 7 days prior to the start date of each enrolled session you wish to cancel to be eligible for a full refund.

  • Include your name, your phone number, the participant’s name and date of birth, session dates/times you wish to cancel, and a current mailing address.
  • Refunds for cancellation requests that are received within 7 day cancelation deadline for the indicated sessions will be mailed to the provided address within 3 business days of receipt of the cancellation request.

A full or partial refund may be approved for requests received after the 7-day cancellation deadline when:

  • Extenuating circumstances necessitate your child to be unenrolled in one or more sessions of summer programming (please contact us to communicate about any extenuating circumstances. Documentation may be required to approve a refund).
  • If Sundance Therapy is able to fill the enrollment spot with another participant prior to the start of the session.

You may choose to transfer your paid enrollment to another child, or to benefit a participant on our funding waitlist. Please contact [email protected] for details.

Program Cancellations & Changes

In the event that Sundance Therapy needs to cancel or change any summer programming session, a session credit can be applied to an alternative summer program date or a full refund can be provided upon request.

  • Participants may transfer their enrollment of any summer program dates canceled by Sundance Therapy to an alternate available summer programming option. A member of our staff will guide you through this process.
  • Requests for a full refund because of canceled program dates by Sundance Therapy will be mailed within 3 business days of the receipt of the request.
  • Email your request to [email protected] and include your name, your phone number, the participant’s name and date of birth, canceled session dates/times, and a current mailing address.
    • Unless credited to an alternate summer programming option for your child, any refunds of CMA provided funding will be returned directly to the Case Management Agency.
Adding, Transferring, & Removal From a Summer Session Waitlist

Enrollment for Sundance Therapy Outdoor Explorers Summer Programming is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each summer programming session has a limited number of available spots; any participant who enrolls in a session that is already full will be placed on a waitlist for that session.

  • To remove your child from a summer session waitlist please email [email protected] and
  • Include your name, your phone number, the participant’s name and date of birth, session dates/times you wish to remove from the waitlist.
  • If you would like to transfer the participant to the waitlist of another summer session, please also include the session dates you would like to be added to in your email request.
  • Please note that the $1.00 reservation fee collected to hold your child’s spot is non-refundable, but may be transferable to one alternative waitlist.
